Design of Fully Differential Filters with Basic Active Elements Working in the Current Mode
Original language description
Design of fully-differential (F-D) filter working in the current mode is presented in this paper. Simple transformation of the single-ended (S-E) structure to the fully-differential is demonstrated on the structure consisting of four active elements withdual (balanced) outputs. The achieved F-D structure consists of four or even only three F-D active elements. The first type is a Fully-Differential Current Fol-lower (FD-CF) and second is transconductance amplifier (OTA) with multiple current outputs (MOTA). Natural fre-quency can be easily tuned by the transconductance of two MOTA elements. All presented filters are of the Single-Input Multiple-Output (SIMO) type. Simulation results confirmed design correctness.
