Electronically Tunable Current-Mode KHN Equivalent Frequency Filter Using ECCIIs
Original language description
In this paper a multifunction current-mode frequency filter using electronically tunable current conveyors (ECCIIs) is presented. By means of the active elements used, mutually independent control of the quality factor Q and natural frequency w0 is possible and therefore the behavior of the circuit is equivalent to the well known KHN filter. The proposed structure is suitable for cascade connections, since it has one low-impedance input with zero potential and three high impedance outputs with low-, band- and high-pass responses. To verify the behavior of the frequency filter proposed, Spice simulations and, furthermore, experimental measurements were performed.
