Synthesis of LiFelPO4/C composite cathode for lithium-ion batteries
Original language description
Two types of samples of LiFePO4/C cathode material for lithium ion batteries was synthesized by glycine assisted sintering in our laboratories. Different type of conductive carbon support was used during synthesis. Often used amorphous Super P carbon in the first sample was altered for multiwall carbon nanotubes in the second sample. Physical characterization by SEM, TEM, XRD and TGA was made and electrochemical characterization by CV, EIS, Rate capability and Charge-Discharge was performed. Good performance of LiFePO4/C composite cathode for lithium-ion batteries electrode was observed.
