Satellite data analysis is relatively complex task because characteristics of such a data often change place by place. This paper shows how the IMMI can be used for an automatic building detection from satellite image data. For this purpose IMage MIning (IMMI) extension for RapidMiner has been used, in particular a trainable segmentation algorithm.
