This paper presents rapid prototyping of robust motor control algorithms in targets from Freescale Semiconductors. It presents the SFIO Toolbox which is used for step by step transfer of algorithms from Matlab Simulink into target hardware and for Processor-In-the-Loop simulation. It mentions the Quick Start tool which is the existing tool for fast setup of peripheries. The way of rapid prototyping is closed with utilization of the FreeMASTER software tool for Hardware-In the-Loop simulation. These tools are demonstrated on simple example of proportional controller and on a complex task of robust current control of AC induction motor. As a target for the demonstration served in this paper hybrid controller MC56F8346.
