The article deals with possibility of an in-situ XRD measuring of lead sulfate crystal growth on a lead substrate in conditions of lead-acid battery. In-situ technique is powerful tool that can discover many basic aspects of electrochemical processes and could give us precise results about structure of electrode materials, about preferred orientation of the formed compound during oxidation/reduction processes, and also this technique could monitor, in a restricted manner, particle size of as-formed crystals.
