Calculation of the Applicable Wavelengths in Underwater Communication
Original language description
This work is focused on the calculation of the specific attenuation of the underwater environment based on the concentration of phytoplankton. We present the parameter specific attenuation level, which is related to the maximum range of the optical underwater link. This parameter will help us determine the appropriate range of usable wavelengths for the required quality of communication in the underwater environment. The output of the work are graphs that show the range of usable wavelengths for selected concentrations of phytoplankton.
