    Extraction efficiency of different solvents for LiFePO4 type of cathode material

    This article focuses on separation of the commercial battery UR18650 with LiFePO4 cathode chemistry. Recycling techniques are described with the emphasis on direct recycling. Disassembly of the LiFePO4 cell is performed with the aim of extracting the cathode material. Two groups of solvents, conventional and ecological variants are compared. Separation efficiency of each of six different types of solvents is discussed.
