    Impact of Charging Stations on Voltage Quality - Island and Grid Operation of Real Installation

  • Original language description

    A charging HUB with the support of a photovoltaic system and battery storage was designed and installed as a part of the cooperation between the Brno University of Technology and the ČEZ Group. The energy from the storage system is used as the primary source, while the electricity from the grid (EG) is used as a supplementary source for charging up the storage system. The concept is based on AC coupling, which is the contrast to the conventional solutions with DC coupling. The article describes the results of real load tests of the system operated in three defined operating modes.
