Original language description

Edge enhancement in magnified digital images is introduced in the paper. Magnifying is used to obtain the original dimension of the image when its downsampled version is transmitted over the network. The generally used algorithms for image magnifying produces a relatively blurred enlarged image. For that reason we tried to create an algorithm, which would revive the sharpness of the enlarged image. The method described uses the wavelet transform.
