Audio Signal Spectral Analysis Based on FFT for Automatic Notation.
Original language description
In this paper the main problems of audio spectral analysis for automatic notation are discussed. The approach of spectral analysis based on FFT and spectrogram computation was chosen in this case. At the beginning the main parameters of tones, problems concerning higher tones harmonics, frequency and time resolution are treated of. Then the method is discussed of spectrogram and power spectral density envelope derivative in connection with thresholding for determining the basic frequencies of tones played in harmony.
