    Ecotoxicological evaluation of the sludges from waste water treatment plants

  • Original language description

    Sewage sludge from different waste water treatment plants was evaluated by selected tests of ecotoxicity with respect to their intended use. For this purpose two alternative toxicity tests, Thamnotoxkit FTM on sense organisms Thamnocephalus platyurus andDaphnotoxkit FTM magna on sense organisms Daphnia magna were used, and also two phytotests were employed: Sinapis alba root growth inhibition toxicity test and Allium cepa L root growth inhibition toxicity test. The values of 24hLC50 a 48hLC50 obtainedfor Thamnocephalus platyurus and Daphnia magna testing organisms and 72hIC50 values gained for Sinapis alba and Allium cepa testing plants are the basic data for the ecotoxicological assessment of the sewage sludges..

    Čistírenské kaly z rozdílných čistíren byly hodnoceny z hlediska ekotoxicity a možnosti jejich dalšího použití. Pro tyto účely byly použity dva alternativní testy ekotoxicity toxicity, a to Thamnotoxkit FTM na organismu Thamnocephalus platyurus a Daphnotoxkit FTM magna na organismu Daphnia magna. Dále byly použity dva testy fytotoxicity: Test inhibice růstu kořene Sinapis alba a Allium cepa. Hodnoty 24hLC50 a 48hLC50 získané pro Thamnocephalus platyurus a Daphnia magna a hodnoty 72hIC50 zíkané pro Sinapis alba a Allium cepa testovací rostliny jsou základní data pro ekotoxikologické hodnocení čistírenských kalů a možnosti posouzení jejich dalšího využití.
