Mechanical Properties of Aluminosilicate Systems Based on Alkali Activation of Industrisal By-Products
Original language description
This paper deals which mechanical properties in relation to structure of heterogeneous material (geopolymer). The testing material was inorganic aluminosilicate polymer, called geopolymer, synthesized from the alkali activation of fly ash/slag mixtures.Effect of quality used raw materials that influence the compressive and flexural strength of hardened geopolymer was discussed. The study of the microstructure was based on XRD, SEM-EDX and LOM analyses.
