Characterisation of fatty acids in humic acids extracted from physically modified south-moravian lignite
Original language description
The objective of this study was to focus on the composition of fatty acids presented in those samples using chemical degradations such as thermochemolysis1 using TMAH (tetramethylamonium hydroxide). This approach supports the release of extractable hydrophobic compounds such as fatty acids which are consequently detected and analyzed by Gas Chromatography coupled with Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS).
