Determination of Linear Musk Compounds in Waste Water
Original language description
This study is focused on the determination of the 5 commonly used linear musk compounds (Arocet, Aroflorone, Linalool 925, Lilial, Isoamyl salicylate) in waste water (in influent and in effluent) from the waste water treatment plant (WWTP) Brno-Modřice (April 2011). The optimization method solid phase microextraction (SPME) was used for isolation of analytes from samples. The identification and quantification of analytes was carried out by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The overall removal efficiency during the water cleaning process on the WWTP Brno-Modřice for all compounds was very high ? above 99 % with the exception of Lilial which show removal efficiency between 78.7?96.1 %.
