Cellulase immobilization on carrier from waste polyethylene terephthalate bottles
Original language description
Cellulase enzyme of Trichoderma was immobilized by using crushed polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles obtained from wastes as carrier. The properties of the immobilized cellulase were investigated such as the thermal stability, storage and operational stability and the mode of action of the enzyme on the polymeric substrate. The obtained results were compared with free enzyme and two other commercial carriers (Sorsilen, Eupergit C).
