Characterization and Optimization of Novel Polymer Composite PEDOT:DBSA for Bioelectronic Applications
Original language description
In this contribution, we discuss the biocompatibility and stability of novel organic conducting polymer PEDOT:DBSA in comparison with nowadays most commonly used material PEDOT:PSS. For this purpose, we used standard MTT biocompatibility essay and delamination test. As results shows, PEDOT:DBSA possesses better long-term stability and biocompatibility than PEDOT:PSS and other commonly used materials and therefore is a very promising material for use in bioelectronic applications.
