In her paper, the author analyzes the connection between the life cycle of products and services and life cycle management using tools that help reduce negative impacts of business activities on the environment, such as the quantitative and qualitative tools. From the holistic point of view, this analysis in fact encompasses the entire life cycle of products and services. Every business activity impacts the social, economic or environmental levels in one way or another. Life Cycle Management (LCM) has been developed as an integrated concept for managing the total life cycle of products and services towards more sustainable consumption and production patterns. Příspěvek je zaměřen na propojení životního cyklu produktů a služeb a životního cyklu managementu (Life cycle management - LCM) s využitím nástrojů, které podporují snížení negativních dopadů podnikové činnosti na životní prostředí jako jsou kvantitavnía kvalitativní nástroje. Z hlediska holistického pohledu jde v podstatě o zkoumání kompletního životního cyklu produktů a služeb. Každá činnost v podnikání má nějaký dopad na sociální, ekonomickou a environmentální úroveň.
