The paper focuses on the knowledge management versus human capital. Its purpose is to describe mutual relations between the knowledge management and the knowledge worker as the holder of specific knowledge. It may be concluded that key information aboutthe knowledge workers within the company, not just the higher-level management, but indeed all employees, should be important for each company.

Příspěvek je zaměřen na znalostní management versus lidský kapitál. Cílem příspěvku je popsat vzájemné vazby mezi znalostním managementem a znalostním pracovníkem jako držitelem konkrétních znalostí. Závěrem lze konstatovat, že pro každý podnik by měly být důležité klíčové informace o znalostních pracovnících v podniku, nejen managementu vyšších linií, ale skutečně všech zaměstnanců.
