KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AS A SUPPORT OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Original language description
Contribution focuses on the definition of the links between knowledge management and project management. Aim of the contribution is to show and warn about the importance of final analyses of the postproject phase of the project, based on the already conducted, successful as well as unsuccessful projects, including the use of the knowledge gained for the formation of the knowledge base. Knowledge Base is a support tool used in the planning and management of projects. It provides valuable information forthe creation of new project plans, whereby it leads indirectly to optimization of activities, occurring in particular in the pre-project phases of the life cycle project. The output of the contribution is a description of proposed methodology for projectmanagement, whose base is functioning knowledge-based management in the Organization and so helps to apply more effectively, i.e. in particular faster and, therefore, more cheaply, project management methods in the company sphere.
