Development of innovation management in the human resource management in Czech small and medium-sized enterprises through the process of internationalization
Original language description
Internationalization is the phenomenon of our age. Involvement of Czech Republic in international markets is crucial in order to achieve long-term sustainability, prosperity and economic growth. These activities are greatly supported by projects guaranteed by the government of Czech Republic. So far, no scientific paper has examined and described the correlation between government grants for internationalization of Czech small and medium-sized enterprises, called Marketing programme, and the development of innovation management in the field of human resource management, especially in the area of work-life balance of the employees. This paper uses the analysis of both primary and secondary data. Quantitative questionnaire research was performed in order to process the primary data collection. The respondent set complete of 676 Czech SMEs have been approached with the questionnaire research and sub sequentially divided into two groups based on their participation in the Marketing programme (338 companies took part in it), in other words if they have participated in international fairs and exhibitions with government support or if they are active only on the Czech market. The aim of this research paper is to prove if there is a difference in attitude towards innovation management in human resource management (HRM) in Czech small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) according to their attitude towards internationalization, when they have the same legal form of private limited companies, are both based in Czech Republic, have less than 250 employees and their entrepreneurial activities are defined by specific CZ NACE.
