    Heat Transfer Coeficient from Moving Tire

  • Original language description

    The work shows obtaining of convective heat transfer from the rolling truck tire. Solution of this problem is not simple because the truck tire put out different values of heat in different points. Result is different temperature at the tire surface. There is shown theoretical obtaining of convective heat transfer coefficient and its confrontation with experiment. Experimental data were obtained from distribution of temperature at the truck tire surface and effect of tyre drag. Theoretical data was obtained from finite element method (FEM).
