    The design of simple controllers for time-delay systems using time-delay approximations

  • Original language description

    The paper deals with the design of simple controllers for stable and also unstable time delay systems using various time delay approximations. The resulting controllers are obtained via solutions of polynomial Diophantine equations. In addition to usualcontrol system properties, the controller stability is desired. This is achieved by a suitable location of the closed-loop poles. The resulting algorithms are tested by computer simulation.
