    The authors worked out modified enzymatic hydrolysis technology which they successfully realized in industrial practice.The main products of the mentioned technology are gelatin protein, enzymatic protein hydrolysate and chrome sludge. The gelatin protein was used for manufacturing modified urea-formaldehyde resins with very low free formaldehyde content, formaldehyde content, protein hydrolysate found application as setting retarder in the building industry and as an outstanding organo-nitrogenous fertilizer or combined NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) fertilizer.
