The Euro-Mediterranean Symposium on Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (EMSLIBS) has a long history and we are pleased and honored to host its jubilee, the 10th EMSLIBS symposium in Brno. EMSLIBS is organized every second year and alters with the LIBS conference which was organized in 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia (US). We want that our way of organizing the EMSLIBS symposium would be a good continuation of the level set by our recent predecessors prof. Palleschi and his team in Pisa (Italy) in 2017 and before that by the team of prof. Pedarnig in Linz (Austria) in 2015. EMSLIBS symposium attracts constantly more attention and we believe that we will be dignified successors of the tradition.
