Jubilee 10th EMSLIBS took place in Brno, Czech Republic, the heart of the South Moravian Region. 229 scientists, researchers, engineers and students from 42 countries all over the world came to contribute with their Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) related research, its applications and also to define the future of LIBS analysis. The symposium was organized by a team consisting of researchers from LIBS groups based at the Brno University of Technology, Masaryk University, Central European Institute of Technology, and Ioannes Marcus Marci Spectroscopic Society. This team was led by Prof. Jozef Kaiser and Prof. Viktor Kanicky, the recognized experts in the laser-based spectroscopy and members of international scientific committees. The scientific program[1] was divided into three main sessions: scientific talks, poster sessions, and workshops.
