Biopsie lymfatické sentinelové uzliny způsobila zásadní převrat v chirurgickém managementu primárního maligního melanomu. Autoři předkládají retrospektivní přehled 374 pacientů léčených pro maligní melanom , u nichž byla od roku 2000 provedena biopsie sentinelové uzliny řízená použitím dynamické a statické lymfoscintigrafie, patentní modři a chirurgické gama sondy.
