Since 2001, selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) has been applied in clinical praktice. It has been shown in previous studies to be a suitable replacement for argon laser trabeculoplasty (ALT) as it is much better for the trabecular meshwork tissue. Inthis article are discusses the advantages of SLT. This study finds that SLT should be performed as the primary treatment option for all glaucoma patients.
