Original language description
The research project entitled „Intelligent Neuro-Rehabilitation System for Patients with Acquired Brain Damage in Early Stages of Treatment“ (project EDDIE for short) is proposed to offer intelligent neuro-rehabilitation system to increase the efficiency of the early stage of neuro-rehabilitation in patients with brain damage. The core of the project is created by the CHC intelligence model, which is divided into nine areas – Quantitative knowledge (Gq), Comprehension-Knowledge (Gc), Fluid reasoning (Gf), Reading & Writing Ability (Grw), Short-Term Memory (Gsm), Long-Term Storage and Retrieval (Glr), Visual Processing (Gv), Auditory Processing (Ga), Processing Speed (Gs). The main project output is a set of games to make neuro-rehabilitation more effective. All proposed games and their levels have been discussed with a team of psychologists and neurologists from the FNO (University Hospital Ostrava) and AMKP (Clinical Psychology Ostrava).
