Agenda 2030 in the Czech Republic. Vision and Oportunity
Original language description
The 2030 Agenda has recently been widely discussed by "developers" practically all over the world. Based on this, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs by 2030, represent not only vision and opportunities, but serve also as indicators of sustainable development, declared by the UN at its Summit in September 2015 under the motto “Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. Since 2015 the issues of the importance and application of the SDG goals have been widely discussed on a worldwide scale, but debates on the SDG application in the conditions of the Czech Republic has by far not been as wide ranging as in the surrounding countries. For this reason, the authors decided to concentrate on this issue. There were selected those goals and the targets that authors found interesting to discuss in order to open this topical issue up and contribute to meeting the global tasks via discussions within the context of the Czech Republic. The publication presents nine contributions relating to seven of the seventeen goals.
