Original language description
The presented article entitled Administrative Law – Selected Legal Aspects of Voluntary Associations of Municipalities – addresses selected legal aspects of this issue. It is from the area of territorial self-regulation in the Czech Republic. It analyzes the current legal problems concerning the institute of volunteer associations of municipalities. Both fromthe point of view of today' slegislation, as well as the de lege ferenda considerations. For example, the article sloves the question of who can represent a member community in a Association of Municipalities? Does it always have to be a Mayoror vice-mayor? The legal regulativ does not containany relevant limitations here, so the member community can represent any one whom the municipality emptiesproperly. Therefore, it is not necessary to deal exclusively with the Mayoror vice-mayor, as he sometimes mistakenly believes in practice.
