Original language description
KROFTA, Karel, Dagmar VOJTĚCHOVÁ and Miluše WERSCHALLOVÁ. Recent development of the content of undesirable and foreign substances in Czech hops. In: F. WEIHRAUCH, ed. Proceedings of the Scientific-Technical Commission 07 – 11 July 2019, Bischoffsheim, France. Wolnzach: Scientific-Technical Commission of the International Hop Growers' Convention, 2019, p. 37. ISSN 2512-3785. The paper evaluates the quality of Czech hops from the 2018 harvest in terms of undesirable and foreign components such as nitrates or pesticide residues. Copper content is evaluated from the group of heavy metals. Most hops samples contained less than 100 mg/kg of copper. Monitoring of the presence of pesticide residues has not demonstrated the use of a product that is not authorized in hop gardens.
