Original language description
WERSCHALLOVÁ, Markéta, Alena HENYCHOVÁ and Josef PATZAK. Molecular-genetic analysis of downy mildew (Pseudoperonospora humuli) population in Czech hop growing regions. In: F. WEIHRAUCH, ed. Proceedings of the Scientific-Technical Commission 07 – 11 July 2019, Bischoffsheim, France. Wolnzach: Scientific-Technical Commission of the International Hop Growers' Convention, 2019, p. 41. ISSN 2512-3785. The molecular genetic variability of hop downy mildew (Pseudoperonospora humuli) populations from the Czech Republic were studied. The sequence diversity was searched within internal transcribed spacers of nuclear ribosomal DNA (ITS) region, β-tubulin gene (β-tub), and the cytochrome c oxidase (cox) cluster (cox2, cox2-cox1 spacer and cox1). There was very low nucleotide variation in selected loci. It is suggested that P. humuli populations have clonal character.
