Since 1988 the spread of plum pox virus (PPV) has been monitored in five orchards and one experimental nursery established in the Czech Republic. This study focuses on differences in the spread of PPV between cultivars and also between different clones within ´Common Prune´. The majority of cultivars were evaluated in an experimental orchard established in 1993. Nearly one thousand trees were grown in plots located close to a germplasm plum orchard where about 80 % of the trees were infected by plum poxvirus. The highest shares of infected trees were noted in Empress cv, followed by ´President´, ´Early Blue´, ´Valor´ and ´Wegierka Dabrowicka´. On the other hand, no infected trees were found in ´Mirabelle de Nancy´´Nancy Mirabelle´. Low shares of infected trees were observed in ´Valjevka´, ´Čačanska rana´, ´Reine Claude´, ´Hamanova´ and ´Bluefre´.

Rozdíly v intenzitě infekce šarkou v rámci odrůd a klonů Prunus domestica (L.)

Od roku 1988 byl v České republice v 5 sadech a jedné pokusné školce monitorován výskyt viru plum pox (PPV). Toto stadium bylo zaměřeno na rozdíly v šíření PPV mezi odrůdami a různými klony Domácí švestky. Většina odrůd byla hodnocena v pokusné výsadbě založené v r. 1993. Téměř 1000 stromů rostlo na parcele umístěné blízko výsadby genofondu slivoní, kde 80% stromů bylo napadeno virem šarky. Největší podíl napadených stromů byl zaznamenán u odrůdy Empress za níž následovaly odrůdy ´President´, ´Early Blue´, ´Valor´ a ´Wegierka Dabrowicka´. Naopak bez infekce byly zjištěny stromy odrůd ´Mirabelky nancyské´. Nízký podíl infikovaných stromů byl dále pozorován u odrůd ´Valjevka´, ´Čačanska raná´, ´Zelená renklóda´, ´Hamanova´ a ´Bluefre´.
