As part of the LTI20007 project and a part of a foreign business trip (from 4/12 to 8/12/2023) in Alnarp (Loma) Sweden, negotiations on involvement in international cooperation projects were held. The following institution was visited: Faculty of Landscape Architecture, Horticulture and Crop Production Science Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Alnarp, Lomma. The seminar entitled "Research and Breeding Institute of Pomology Holovousy Ltd.: Current activities and prospects for collaboration" was organized at the visited institution. As part of this seminar, the research capacities of VŠÚO Holovousy s.r.o. were presented. The activities of individual departments and the research and instrument infrastructure were presented during a PowerPoint presentation. The collection of gene resources of fruit species VŠÚO Holovousy s.r.o. was also presented in the form of field plantings, on farm collections and collections preserved in the form of in vitro cultures and cryopreservation. 24 participants took part in the seminar. With exiled Ukrainian scientists working in Sweden in the visited institution, the development cooperation project with Ukraine for the years 2024 – 2025/2026 prepared as part of the calls of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic in the field of reconstruction of the fruit sector of Ukraine affected by the ongoing invasion of the Russian Federation troops from 2022 was methodically expanded.
