Original language description
Water soluble beta glucans (BG) were extracted from one waxy line and one czech barley cultivar with standard starch composition. Extracts composition was characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) and analytical methods. The molar mass was determined by GPC and ranged from 4x10 na třetí to 1x10 na šestou g/mol. Viscosity was measured by RVA at various concentration (1-5%), temperatures (18-90 °C) and shear rates (50-500 s-1).
