This paper deals with the recent development in the field of innovation and, more importantly with the concept of open innovation and its practical form of use in technological innovations. Furthermore the article presents the concept of social innovation in its current practical form. The current nature of cheap and highly developed information technology and concept of open society where advanced innovation is readily available to broad population this is used in both technical field and in social fields. The easiness with which the technology is now used may bring some social syndromes that reflect in communication and human conduct. To illustrate, nowadays, frequently even the municipalities and town authorities now call themselves ?information mediators? enabling communication between citizens, thus relying on their own ?clients? to provide correct information to their neighbours.
