Original language description
The article provides an overview of the field of hospitality at the time of the COVID - 19 virus infection and provides insight into how the selected businesses are dealing with the effects of a pandemic. On specific examples of accommodation facilities in Prague, hotel within the hotel chain, regional facilities and catering and hospitality services the article makes recommendations, which should become one of the essential attributes of a contingency plan that can help reverse the current situation. Developments in the current situation suggest that losses to date will increase further, and if the spreading of the disease cannot be stopped, the consequences for the tourism industry could be fatal.
