    Change In The Toughness, Limiting Factor for Application of Thermoplastic Nanocomposites for Construction Materials

    Results of testing nanocomposites with thermoplastic matrix (PP and PA6) and reinforcement on the base montmorillonite (MMT) are presented in the paper. Properties of polymer nanocomposite and neat polymer are compared in all cases. Results obviously indicate, that small amount of nanofiller increase Young`s modulus, yielding point and raise creep resistant. On the other hand, it was determined nanofiller decrease impact properties. Nanocomposites prove smaller value impact strength, J-integral and crack opening displacement. These findings must be considered during design products and constructions of these up-to-date materials.

    V příspěvku jsou prezentovány výsledky mechanických a mikrostrukturních testů nanokompozitů s termoplastickou matricí (PP a PA6). Byly srovnávány vlastnosti polymerního nanokompozitu a neplněné matrice. Výsledky ukazují, že malé množství nanoplniva zvyšuje modul, mez kluzu a další, ale snižuje křehkolomové vlastmosti.
