Influence of Microstructure on Hydrogen Induced Cracking in Gas Pipeline Steels
Original language description
In this article are described results of evaluation and measurement of hydrogen induced cracks and blisters in gas pipeline steels. Quantitative values characterizing hydrogen induced cracking were given into correlation with microstructure. Main reasonfor susceptibility of these steels to hydrogen induced cracking was found in pearlite banding.
