Electron Diffraction Studies on (Nb,V)CrN Particles in 12CrMoVNbN Steels

Result description

Electron diffraction studies on (Nb,V)CrN particles in 12CrMoVNbN steels revealed that most diffraction patterns were composed of zone axes belonging to a tetragonal unit cell with dimensions a=0.286nm, c=0.739nm and a FCC unit cell with the parameter a=0.404nm. The size of the FCC unit cell is consistent with the FCC subcell in the proposed tetragonal unit cell of modified Z phase. Generally, intensity of spots belonging to the FCC unit cell decreased with time of thermal exposure, and the intensity oftetragonal patterns increased.
