The 3th International Conference SSTT "Determination of Mechanical Properties of Materials by Small Punch and other Miniature Testing Techniques? 2014 will take place at the castle Seggau in Styria, Austria from September 23 ? 25, 2014.The need for evaluating the actual mechanical properties of structural components by direct testing methods has led to the development of innovative techniques such as Small Punch and other innovative miniature testing techniques requiring a very limited amount of testingmaterial. They are cost effective techniques identifying the present state of material damage and focusing on the more critical locations in the component. At the conference, a total of 43 scientific lectures has been said. The conference was attended by 60 experts from 17 countries: Czech Republic, Austria, China, India, Japan, USA, Germany and others.
