    The paper is focused on determination of mechanical properties from very small volumes of metallic materials by small punch test on miniature disc specimens. Results of small punch test can be correlated with mechanical properties determined by conventional or other miniature tests. Various applications of small punch test are shown and basic relations for an assessment of conventional mechanical properties from quantities obtained by small punch test are presented.
