Higher education moved from an elite form to a matter of mass. The proportion of graduates in the labor market rises. The production of graduates is faster than the growth of skilled jobs. Higher education becomes a personal strategy insuring against therisk of social decline. Marketing practices requires from graduates not only some level of knowledge, but also practical skills.
