AUTOPOT: A Tool For Automatic MS Word Testing
Original language description
The Microsoft office has been a dominant pack of office applications for almost two decades and thus skills for their correct and fast use are within standard requirements for office workers. Therefore, the Microsoft office has become a standard course for many high schools and universities focusing on office worker training. After training the students in MS office skills, the examinations are usually used to assess the practical skills and knowledge of the students. Since the examination consists of many practical tasks, the process of the test check becomes very time consuming and exhaustive for the teachers. Furthermore, to avoid cheating on the exams, the teachers have to create many test variants which further complicates the assessment process. In this paper, we present the AUTOPOT tool for Microsoft Word text editor that enables automatic test creation and assessment of the basic skills required.
