    The Abundance of in the waste pits of citizens ' houses (Brno, Kroměříž, Olomouc, Mikulov, Opava), castles (Veselí nad Moravou, Velké Losiny) and glassworks (Pusté Žibřidovice, Kunčice pod Ondřejníkem, Nová Seninka u Šumperka, Stříbrnice, Velké Vrbno, Hoštěnínky, Olomučany/Josefovo údolí, Smrčná u Jihlavy) made archaeological glass finds have made it possible for us to complete the knowledge on the renaissance and Baroque temporal production of glass in Moravia (Czech Republic). By means of RF, and SEM/EDS performed chemical analyses have shown together with a typological analysis of the vessels (mugs, cups, jars, bottles, etc.), Renaissance glass (the middle 16. – In the middle of 17. Cent.) from the four raw materials: Sand, ash, potash, and limestone was melted. In some of the glass works of the Renaissance was time of glass replacement, table salt (NaCl), which fulfilled the function of a purification by means of. Thanks to the use of ash, the glass was greenish.
