The effect of insecticide application on the number of true bugs, the number of silvertop stems and the yield was studied on one site of Grassland Research Station in Zubří.The occurrence of silvertop in the first year (2008) was very low with significant differences between variants. The disease appeared as more important in the second year of the experiment. Significant differences between all variants of pesticides and untreated control.
