Ground beetle assemblages (Coleoptera: Carabidae) on conventionally and reduced tilled alfalfa fields ? a two zdar experiment
Original language description
During the years 2008-2009 we observed the occurrence of ground beetles on two differently managed alfalfa fields in southern Moravia. Althogether 638 speciemens of ground beetles representing 34 species were found by means of emergence traps in both years. The higher number of species was observed on reduced tilled plot (26) than in conventionally tilled plot (23), but the number of speciemens was almost equal.
