Influence of organic matter application into the soil on its some physical and chemical properties
Original language description
The obtained results showed that applied compost has a positive impact on the soil physical properties. By compost incorporating soil compaction was reduced, its porosity was increased and soil structure has improved. From the main soil chemical properties soil humus content by total organic carbon content (Corg) was monitored. The quality of humus has been assessed by fractional composition and by the ratio of humic and fulvic acids (HK / FK). There were found evident tendency to increase Corg content and its quality, but statistically significant differences were not found.
