Original language description
The aim of the development was to test various conditions preparing sandwiches from plates to their use as armor plates. Based on customer requirements we were rehearsed current state of knowledge in this area, according to available literature data. Furthermore, on the documents delivered by customer (chemical composition of the steel, the overall degree of deformation, connection methods) was determined methodical steps to fix the problem: 1. Determination of the upper and lower forging / rolling temperature for the proposed steel 2. Proposal sandwiches composition, method of connection and use of a flux 3. Proposal of forging and rolling process 4. Experimental melting of steel 5. Preparation of sheet by metal forging and rolling, surface treatment6. Preparation of sandwiches according to specifications 7. Experimental forging of sandwiches 8. Metallographic evaluation of forged sheets 9. Experimental sheet rolling 10. Metallographic evaluation of rolled sheets 11. Determining the
